The rod-shaped composite insulator for high-voltage lines is composed of an insulating core rod, a silicon rod rubber umbrella sleeve and connecting fittings at both ends 3 a part. Insulated core rod is the abbreviation of epoxy resin glass fiber pull-out rod. It is the skeleton of composite insulator. It plays multiple roles such as supporting umbrella sleeve, internal insulation, connecting two end fittings, and bearing mechanical load. It has high tensile strength, generally up to 600Mpa, which is 2 times of ordinary steel and 5-8 times of porcelain material. It has good dielectric properties and chemical corrosion resistance, as well as good bending fatigue resistance, creep and impact resistance. Silicone rubber umbrella sleeve mainly plays the role of protecting the core rod, shielding wind and snow, increasing the creepage distance and external insulation of the product. It is based on polymer silicone rubber, supplemented by flame retardant, anti-aging agent, coupling agent and other fillers by high temperature and high pressure vulcanization. It has good hydrophobic migration, and good corrosion resistance, aging resistance, electrical insulation and other properties. And has high pollution lightning pressure and crushing resistance, uniform voltage distribution, compared with porcelain under the same conditions flashover voltage is more than 2 times the porcelain (porcelain insulator is 1/8) small volume, not fragile, high tensile strength, convenient transportation.

Functional features

The composite insulator is made of special steel, and the end of the hardware adopts the labyrinth design principle, multi-layer protection, good sealing performance, and solves the most critical problem of the insulator-interface electrical breakdown. The connection between the hardware and the mandrel adopts the most advanced computer-controlled coaxial constant pressure crimping process in the world, and is equipped with a fully automatic acoustic emission flaw detection system to ensure the reliability and stability of the connection between the hardware and the mandrel. The mandrel adopts ERC high-temperature acid-resistant rod, and the interface between the mandrel and the silicone rubber is coated with a special coupling agent. Umbrella sleeve adopts a one-time integral molding process under high temperature and high pressure, and cooperates with a computer-monitored two-stage vulcanization process to extend the service life of the product. This product is especially suitable for heavily polluted areas, with an ambient temperature of -40°C ~ 40°C, and an altitude of no more than 2000 meters.
